"TUCSON'S POLKA BAND"

The Bouncing Czechs - Tucson’s Polka Band - have been performing in the Tucson area for 27 years, having been formed from within the Tucson Czech-Slovak Club. The 5-piece band performs year-around throughout Arizona and are popular for playing music for Oktoberfests. We have performed at mobile home parks, Senior communities, Fraternal organizations, Tucson and Phoenix Area Arts Festivals, Arizona Casinos, Corporate events, private parties, and Tucson ethnic clubs. We are experienced and accomplished musicians that love to play their music for Arizona audiences, donning Lederhosen costumes when Oktoberfest Season comes to Southern Arizona. Today the principal members are:

The music of the Bouncing Czechs ranges from the traditional band music played in the Czech Republic and Slovakia - polkas and waltzes, as well as music of other central European countries, to the popular American music of the pre-Be Bop era. The band has available an extensive library of Czech and Slovak and other Polka music, as well as the popular music of this country. We have become very popular for Tucson area Oktoberfests, and even will dress in our Lederhosen and Dirndl costumes. The Bouncing Czechs can put together a musical program for almost any occasion.

The Musikmeisters Trio will again be at the Mt Lemmon Ski Valley Oktoberfest on Weekends in 2025 - September 20 through October 12 from Noon to 4:30 PM on each Saturday and Sunday. Hope to see you there!
